AB 2550 – Assembly Natural Resources Committee

Restore Clean Air for the San Joaquin Valley

The San Joaquin Valley has some of the worst air quality in the nation with about 1 in 4 children having asthma, which is the highest proportion in the state. AB 2550 would have addressed the region’s air pollution by empowering the California Air Resources Board to work with the San Joaquin Valley Air District, community organizations, and disadvantaged communities to strengthen local programs and enforcement to improve air quality in the region and better protect the health of communities.
